Beautifully maintained park a short walk from the heart of Bath. We went in spring and the park was in bloom. Combined with the crescent and the circus, makes this one of the most picturesque areas of Somerset and Britain.

Beautiful park. Snowdrops and loads of crocuses out. I've never seen squirrels so tame. Wonderful morning for 3 generations of us. Thoroughly recommended.

Lovely park for a wall and some fresh air. Had a picnic by the duck pond, with my baby. Lots of ducks for children to feed. Lovely and clean, no litter anywhere, lots of benches to sit on.We never went in the park, as my baby is only 11 weeks, but in time, we will. We'll be back

The Royal Victoria Park has something for most people. When I'm telling people not familiar with Bath, about 'Vicky Park', they often think I'm talking about several different parks. It's got The Botanical Gardens, big open spaces, duck ponds, loads of trees and pathways, a massive kids play area, a 10mph road circuits the inner part, a plinth commemorating Princess (later Queen) upon her majority, several impressive gateways. Also the park is adjacent to The Royal Crescent, down the road from The Circus, one end of the park comes right to the edge of Bath city centre. There's more - but you need to go there yourself

I was quite disappointed to see the amount of rubbish in the water at the botanical gardens. Crisp packets balloons amongst other things. Took a walk around the duck pond where there was evidence of homeless people. Twenty pence to use the toilet facilities near the children's play area. One hour free parking which was quite heartening.
