Had a lovely ride on the miniature train. Were lucky to get the steam train it was a great experience going through the tunnels and get to see some of the Renovations on the Richard Jefferies Museum. Close to the playground and in summer there's also the water splash park. Regularly cycle round the lakes but it was a first time on the train and I don't think it will be the last. At 2 each for about 10 minutes it was really good value. Train Open Sundays and bank holidays weather permitting.
Lovely afternoon. Perfect for family walk. Cafe sells lovely coffee and cakes at reasonable prices. 2 for a ride on the model railway is very good value as you get a long ride
Lovely big park with a big lake. Nice coffee and flapjack from tea shop. The water park was closed as it was winter. The mini railway has irregular opening times so check the website first.
We enjoyed it here at coate water country park. There's plenty of parking spaces which was nice and It's a good place to take your dog for a walk. We went so that our dog could have a swim but disappointingly no dogs where allowed in the water due to algae blooms. hopefully next time the dogs can have a swim.
