Car park in the middle of nowhere, but great for access to Knap Hill and the Downs. Free parking so what's not to like? A few holes in the surface so drive carefully. Not too many spaces so arrive early if you intend to do a long walk at popular times.
A great place to park for wandering about on the Downs north of Pewsey Vale. Views across the Vale to Salisbury Plain, and north towards Avebury. There are usually spaces available, but can get busy at peak times (holidays, Sunday afternoons). Not a crime hot spot, but do not leave valuables in the vehicle.
