The Polly Tea Rooms is a great place to bring a tea enthusiast. Its a wonderful cosy place with a great cake and tea selection. Excellent for a quick visit or even lunch!
Had a great breakfast here with the one and only after our night away in Marlborough. Friendly staff, quick reliable service and a nice seating area outside. One of many great nights away.
The menu was excellent and the food was eventually delicious, however the waiting times were far too long even for freshly cooked meals. No explanations were given. Prepare for extending your parking ticket as we had to do.
Such a shame, it's gone so far down hill. The Polly used to be a bit pricey but you got excellent food and service in lovely surroundings with bone china, crisp tablecloths and quietly attentive staffNow, undercooked food, staff that are definitely not attentive, bare tables and earthenware crockery and the man behind the till called me 'love. I could have had better food, better manners and better service in a pub for less money
Just came back from having breakfast with family. Lovely full English nicely presented. Staff very helpful as we had nine month boy with us. Would definitely recommend.
